- Troops Management We want to build the ultimate Strategist Haven. So Managing your troops is crucial if you want them to fight. Ration, Exhaustion and Intoxication are the 3 very basics you will have to handle. And you will have to pick the right dishes and checking carefully their virtues if you want your troops ready for the confrontation
Most importantly during battle you can get injuries among your troops. With the unique Spirit of Tactic's battle system, there are 4 levels of injury. Each single Soldier in each squad is really fighting. Depending the injury level and the amount different cure/potion shall be provided. If not your squad will not fight. Worst of all you may lost it. Lastly they can also get some illness, again it's up to you to pamper your Army (Quickly said, but it implies a lot ….).

Every good Tactician know that a Mighty warrior is a Warrior who have
been well feed.
But that's not it. The precision of your recipe will have an impact on its virtue. Worst of all You can literally mix any ingredient together (even if they are not required) and if you mess up too much it will randomly swap a virtue to an other one. Which might destroy your stock or hurt even more your Troops if you give them.

Prepare and Focus: The Battle Flow | |
- (Sorry this one will be long, but it worst it) From "Adapt and walk" to "Prepare and Focus": THE BATTLE FLOW For those who heard about ApexArena Years ago, at its very dawn (Hello mighty Supporter who got the patience to await the D Day). I was boasting about a mysterious "Adapt-and-Walk" Battlefield. Unfortunately this would only have been possible if it would have been Turn Based ("TB"). Still that "throughout History" (3 Years it's already a lot XD) It became Spirit of Tactic and I told me that real time ("RT") may talk to more members of our Community. So this mysterious "Adapt-and-Walk" will remain it for now.
Still
that (And it's the most important) If, for so long,
I
didn't want to go "RT" it's simply because I knew it could
not work with such Tactical Project, It COULD
not…..
IF
…. I
didn't conceive the "Prepare
and Focus".
And,
while I was searching how to reach
this
RT, I finally saw IT. But this time you will not have to wait 3 Years
to know what it's all about.
But at Tactikast we want OUR 1 ON 1 First. Because competition shall start with a 1 on 1. It's way to hard to find a whole Team. So it would have locked Down 95% of our community if we would have focus on team battles First (Still it remains on the Roadmap, but in second line).
So here come the "Prepare and Focus" It may look simple but it fix the problem. Every participant can only participate at one "Rixe/fight" at a time but still having troops all around the battlefield. Because When 2 opponents cross each other a "Sub-Battle" start in a limited perimeter of the battlefield with a Whole deployment phase and all its ambush. The perimeter is small enough to avoid to be lost even if you have 7 or 8 troops to handle. And all the troops out of this perimeter Stay in stand by (Nothing can happen to them). It allow multiple fight during the whole confrontation at several position of the battlefield. Until one of the opponents no longer have troops or you accomplished your Mission.
I'm not sure you understood so Let's check the plan
-Multiple Deployment phase with Ambushes As said before there will be as much deployment phase as sub-battles (Around 5 during a "Classic" fight). And during each deployment there will be 2 Stages:
1) Ambushes: Around the Limited perimeter You will have dedicated places, on the Flanks of the Enemies (And usually also Behind) where you can deploy squads in Ambush. It’s impossible for your Enemy to know which troops are there except If You attack him or go out. Allowing you to Surprise him and capitalize on your Tactician’s Skill.
2) Regular deployment: In addition of the 2 Units who initiated the sub-battles you will be able to deploy additional squad (Around 6-8) in the deployment area. As a regular deployment but Inside the Confrontation itself.
This "Prepare and Focus" have a lot of advantages and fix most of drawbacks. You can focus on a very specific part of the battlefield without have to worry about your other squads. And you have multiple opportunity to revert the Battle. You no longer have to fear a bad deployment at the very beginning and if you get a bad start you will have plenty of opportunity to adapt your tactic to your opponent. Guaranteeing fairness and equity. Capitalizing on Your Skills. |

Adapt and Win | |
- Procedural battleground While the The whole Battlefield you saw have been generated procedurally we are not completely sure it's the right way to follow. Because tactically it may imply some sustainability problem. Still we are waiting your though about it. To make sure we will go in the right direction ("Semi procedural", might be good too).
- BattleField impact Fields is a key of the battle so there is no way to have a realistic confrontation without it. No worries it will be present and will have a deep repercussion on your strategy, hidden in the Wheat, blocked by swamp, awaiting in the forest, Taking advantage of hills, your squads will have to adapt if they want to win the fight
- Weather Simulation Weather usually have a Huge impact, and without a good plan taking it in consideration, it might suddenly Ruin a Whole Battle or save you from a critical moment. So you will have to cautiously anticipate the Winter Snow or Summer Drought. Deepening the Tactic and giving you the opportunity to participate in a True Battle. |
